In the UK we throw away 3.6 billion nappies every year. That's 10 million per day being landfilled or incinerated.
25% of children start school not toilet trained. Late toilet training increases the risk of bowel and bladder dysfunctions that persist into later life.
The longer children spend in single-use nappies, the worse it is for their health and the health of the planet. Not to mention the financial burden on parents, nurseries, schools, the NHS and local authorities.
Through NappyLoop, we're catalysing the infrastructure to make using cloth nappies easy for nurseries and parents alike.
And through our advocacy work with charities and early years specialists, we're helping to give parents and educators the tools they need to get children out of nappies at the right age.
